Famed Thai film director, Apichatpong Weerasethakul (‘Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives’, ‘Tropical Malady’) conducted a 3-hour masterclass at Tisch School of the Arts Asia. This masterclass was jointly presented by the Graduate Film department and the Asian Film Archive. Apichatpong is the first filmmaker from Southeast Asia to win the Palme d’Or at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.
