First Run Film Festival presented a showcase of 15 Tisch Asia short films for the first time in Singapore at The Cathay Cineplex to the Tisch Asia community and invited guests on April 3rd, Sunday. However, this is not the first time Tisch Asia students participated in First Run Film Festival. So, who are the finalists for this year’s First Run? Stay tuned for the results tomorrow.

Jayne Alethea (one of the winners of the First Run Film Festival blog contest) named her favourite short films from the film festival, “Skwobble and Old Married couple… I liked how sound effects and music were used to evolve feelings without the need for words during certain scenes. I guess that’s the beauty of films.”
Michael Burke (Chair of Graduate Film) gave his opening speech before the screening.
