Strategies to Launch into Festival Presented to Students

Rona Edwards, producer, executive and author (with Monica Skerbelis) of I Liked it, Didn’t Love it – a Guide to Development visited New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia recently to talk about her latest book Film Festivals: an all Access Pass to Launching Your Film on the Festival Circuit. 

Tisch School of the Arts Asia students developed festival strategies with Edwards by submitting marketing materials on their shorts and hearing about the thousands of festivals and markets held worldwide. Edwards said Busan, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Golden Horse and other major festivals in the Asia region provide an excellent opportunity to utilize festivals as networking opportunities.
