Tisch alumni received more accolades in the 2011-2012 awards season. Scoring four more awards at the 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, Tisch alumni were awarded “the Actor” for individual performances as well as on ensemble work. With only thirteen awards for acting in film and television, these honors are fundamental to the spirit of the Screen Actors Guild because they recognize what all actors know – that acting is a collaborative art.
