Students of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) visited New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia on January 4. The visit was part of a Singapore tour that lasted from January 2 – 5, 2012. The students are members of the School of Communication, HKBU who major in Cinema and Television, Digital Graphic Communication, Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, and Organizational Communication respectively.
The visit, which was conducted by Timothy Tan, Director of Public Affairs & Marketing, started off with a presentation of the school followed by a short introduction of Animations and Digital Arts by Jean-Marc Gauthier, Chair of the Animations and Digital Arts Department. The students of HKBU were then treated to a mini screening of award-winning short films and animations. The visit was then capped off with a tour of the Tisch Asia campus.
New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia looks forward to more collaborations with Hong Kong Baptist University in the future.
