From Uta Arning’s The Perfect Woman

Three films from TischAsia have been selected to participate in the First Run Festival where they will be competing for one Grand Prize which will be announced on April 12, 2010 during the annual Wasserman/King Awards ceremony.

The three competition films will be shown at the Cantor Film Center in New York City from April 8-11, 2010.  The other films from TischAsia will be showcased along with the NY Undergraduate & Graduate Film out-of-competition showcases.  Showcasing these films in-house gives us the opportunity to provide prime screening times, on friday evenings at 6 pm and 8 pm.  We are planning  the First Run Showcases for April 16, 23 and 30, to held in screening room 006 at 721 Broadway. Also, the showcased films will still be featured on our website, along with the competition line-up.
