Tisch Alumni Take Home Daytime Emmy® Statuettes

In ceremonies over the weekend, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences celebrated the winners of the 37th annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards are divided into the Telecast Awards and Creative Arts Awards; they recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 AM-6:00 PM during the 2009 calendar year.

This year eleven members—including nine alumni—of the Tisch School community received statuettes for their achievements.

Tisch Asia Commercial Class Project receives 200,000 hits!

3rd year film student, Han West released two of his viral video projects which gained huge popularity among the gaming circle on the Internet. These videos were initially produced for his Directing Television Commercials class. Han decided to test the effectiveness of his videos on YouTube (click here to watch the videos). In a week, his viral videos for the imaginary PlayStation 4 received more than 200,000 views on YouTube. Shijie Tan’s ‘Er Ren’ in the International Film Guide 2010
