Oscar® Winner Geoffrey Fletcher’s Skype Session With Tisch Asia

Geoffrey Fletcher (MFA, Kanbar Institute, Film, 1999), who won the Oscar® for Adapted Screenplay for Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, spoke to students at Tisch School of the Arts Asia via Skype on Friday, April 9.  Following a screening of the film, Fletcher and the students discussed his journey from film school to the Academy Awards, the challenges facing writers, and the writing process for the project.
